2007 July 15: Dont Dream Its Over
It has been a while since I have had an opportunity to, well, do anything much on this site.
There are three new stories in preparation to be published. The first requires some final tweaking on the artwork. The second requires a contract be sent to the author. And the third is waiting on payment to be sent to the author.
After all those matters have been attended to, you will see some new stories appearing, at last!
In the meantime, I would like to share with you this snippet from Henry W. Longfellow, from The Ladder of St. Augustine.
FAME
The heights by great men reached and kept
Were not attained by sudden flight,
But they while their companions slept
Were toiling upward in the night.
You will also soon see me popping up in other places, though I do still fully intend to catch up on the backlog that has grown on this site. A little bit at a time, slowly but surely. To those that have submitted work: You have not been forgotten!
Be forewarned as well that shortly I will need to change the editors eMail address, as it has fallen into the hands of spammers now. It is filling up with offers for pills, medical advice, and (most likely) pirated software.

Meanwhile,
Back at the Ranch...
Canville Virtual Village
Under Reconstruction... There was a time when the streets were alive with the sounds
of children playing, friends gathering, and adults conversing.
When the heat of summer met its match in an ice cream bar delivered
by the friendly chap in the neighborhood ice cream truck. Or,
a rubbery hose would refresh children with the spraying of water
into the air. Oh, how times have changed. Where go the little
children now? Where now gather the teens? Where chatter away the
adults all afternoon? And, alas, what has become of the lonesome
ice cream man?
In todays fast-paced world, where many suffer from information
overload, we offer a retreat from the headaches of the computerized
world in our own Suburbs of the Information Superhighway, Canville Virtual Village. Click here to visit the site.
